Weekly Visitor online registration allows for visitors to park within residential areas in the Township and is valid for one week from date of notice of approval. This purchase is for a visitor registering their own vehicle.
When registering, the following documentation is required:
A. Visitor's valid driver's license and
B. Visitor's valid vehicle registration (Rented vehicles must include a current rental agreement) and
C. Name and address of the North Bergen resident or establishment you are visiting.
Fee: $25.00 per vehicle. Valid seven (7) days from the date of notice of approval.
Daily Visitor are for visitors visiting North Bergen who wish to park a non-commercial vehicle in a residential zone within the Township for more than the three-hour time limit or overnight. This permit registration is valid for one 24-hour period from the completion of your purchase. Purchases can be made in person during office hours or online from your account.
Residents registered with a valid resident permit continue to pay the same low rate of $3.00 for a visitor permit.
When registering a guest, the following documentation is requested:
A. The license plate and state of your visitor's vehicle
B. Visitor's valid driver's license (Optional-may be skipped. If the visitor's license is supplied, their name will be
added to a drop down menu for your convenience with future purchases.)
C. Visitor's valid vehicle registration (Optional-may be skipped) (Rented vehicles must include a current rental agreement.)
Non-residents registering for a daily permit are required to provide the following documentation:
A. Visitor's valid driver's license and
B. Visitor's valid vehicle registration (Rented vehicles must include a current rental agreement) and
C. Name and address of the North Bergen resident or establishment you are visiting.
Fee: $10.00 per vehicle. Valid for one 24-hour period from time of purchase.
